Rock piles

This is a natural talus cave that has been modified with stonework on top and at the back. It has been turned into a dry enclosed space large enough for one seated person.

A unique stone pile on half of a split boulder, a small wall connects this with the other half of the boulder, which is not covered with stones.

This ring of stones is very unusual. The large stone in the back and the triangular stone in the front are on an east-west axis. Behind the triangular stone is a large stone on which a number of small stones are placed. What could be the purpose of this?

A propped boulder on bedrock, near many stone piles.

A strange feature. Three small overhangs are casting shadows in this picture. The one at left is the base of a rock pile. The stone casting a shadow at right has a scalloped appearance on the edge where it has been shaped by having chips taken out of it at regular intervals. This stone has been altered by a person. For what reason?
